I received my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1998. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado, and have been practicing in the Arvada/Westminster area for over 26 years.
I believe that humans are diverse in their personalities and world-views. Therefore, I incorporate a variety of techniques in my approach to counseling. These may include:
*Contemplative Psychotherapy
*Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy
*Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
*Rational Emotive Therapy
*Talk Therapy
*Relaxation Techniques
*Transactional Analysis
*Client Centered Therapy
*Existential Psychotherapy
I like to focus on ways in which anxieties can be redirected in more positive and powerful ways. It's my hope that your counseling experience will aid you in expressing your natural gifts and talents in ways that are more meaningful to you.
